Ried 13’ youth club
The ‘Ried 13’ youth club, which is run by DIREKT e.V., has had its special place as an open, non-commercial meeting place for leisure activities since 1997. The organisation of open activities is an essential part of the educational concept of child and youth work in our facility. The scope and, above all, the content are essentially dependent on which problems the children and young people are currently dealing with and which conflicts are current. This means that the educational staff recognise the relevant trends and tendencies in good time and react to them.
Monday to Thursday: 1:00 – 7:00 pm
Friday: 2:00 – 8:00 pm
Social work in schools
Schools, child and youth work have a shared responsibility: the holistic upbringing and education of young people and supporting their development into independent and socially competent individuals.
The youth welfare programmes should accompany and supplement the extracurricular educational work. The school’s area of responsibility remains unaffected; in particular, school-based youth social work does not relieve the school of its educational responsibility. In addition, school-based youth social work programmes do not qualify for all-day schooling.
Mission statement
Our orientation
- Learning to live together
- in the neighbourhood and in the city
- in Europe and in the world
- in and with nature
We want to work together:
- work independently and on our own responsibility,
- solve tasks together, support each other, accept each other with our strengths and weaknesses,
- resolve conflicts on an objective level,
- stand up for justice and democracy,
- shape our living space together.
Direkt e.V. Arnstadt
DIREKT e.V. has been a recognised independent youth welfare organisation since 1993 and works with socially disadvantaged and individually impaired children and young people by means of outpatient socio-educational measures.
Direkt e.V. is currently responsible for implementing the educational concepts of one open child and youth work project (§11 and §13 KJHG) in Arnstadt and six school-related youth social work projects. Without the voluntary work of the board and other voluntary association members, the quality of Direkt e.V.’s work could not be realised.
