Association “DIREKT e.V.”

DIREKT e.V. has been a recognized independent provider of youth welfare services since 1993. The association works with socially disadvantaged and individually disabled children and young people through outpatient social-educational measures.

The association’s board of directors is volunteer-based and provides professional and administrative supervision for the staff employed in the projects.

Direkt e.V. is currently responsible for the content-related implementation of the pedagogical concepts of an open children and youth work project (§11 and §13 KJHG) in the Arnstadt urban area, as well as six school-based youth social work projects at the Ludwig Bechstein Regular School in Arnstadt, the regular school in Gräfinau-Angstedt, the “MELISSANTES” State High School in Arnstadt, the Goethe School and the Lindenberg High School in Ilmenau, and one school social work project at the vocational school in Arnstadt. Without the voluntary work of the board and other voluntary members of the association, the quality of the work of Direkt e.V. would not be possible.
